Wonderful vintage brown stoneware french onion soup bowls in classic three-tone graduated brown and beige colours. Every clay bowl is different and some bumps and drippings of the glaze, or uneven application of the colours, were part of the manufacturing process and are to be expected.
Charming and rustic - these little soup bowls have so many fantastic uses! Serve a helping of soup, chili, beans or stew - and keep warm on the table with the handy lid. Any leftovers can be popped right into the fridge without the need of expensive and wasteful plastic wraps.
Measures approximately 5 inches across (8 with handle), 3 inches tall and 2 3/4 inch opening.
They are in very good condition. I see no chips or cracks, the inside is clear and the glaze is good too.
