This pretty vintage dresser scarf has a bit of damage and could be put to good use as scraps by someone needing vintage linens for a re-purposing project.  Could be made over into a pillow, a bag, napkins, doilies, frame the embroidery or cut and remake into small bags for storing other items.

I believe it is cotton from the 1950s with machine embroidery (though it could be hand embroidery) and machine crocheted edging.

Measures approximately 35 inches long by 15 inches wide.

The stitching has come loose in a side section, approximately 1 inch long, and there are several "flea bite" stains and one slightly larger stain (about the size of a dime).  The stitching could be repaired and it might be possible to remove the stains by dabbing a bit of bleach on the spots, as the item is otherwise sound.

Disclaimer: Many of the items sold are vintage or pre-loved. Quality of vintage items vary with the manufacturing methods available at the time of production. They are not made to current standards of manufacturing ... and in my opinion, that is usually a good thing! They tend to be higher quality, last longer and include more attention to detail than today's products. However, safety standards do change over time, items do deteriorate with age, and it is up to the customer to decide how they will use each product.
