This beautiful ginger jar has a soothing design of pink and blue pastel flowers and gold gild trim on the lid.  Very pretty and romantic.

Use this "ginger" jar for more than ginger!  Great for lots of spices eg bay leaves, loose leaf tea, tea bags, sea salt - just to name a few. Or fill with potpourri and leave the lid off to fragrance your room. It could even be used as a small vase. Use to store incense cones, crystals, herbs or other magical tools ... even as an urn for ashes.

Marked "Sadler, England" on the bottom of the jar.  I've estimated it to be made in the 1950s or 1960s given the graphic.

Measures approximately 4 inches square.

In very good condition.  No chips or cracks, graphic is clear and gold trim is intact.  A little bit of crazing which is common with age.

Disclaimer: Many of the items sold are vintage or pre-loved. Quality of vintage items vary with the manufacturing methods available at the time of production. They are not made to current standards of manufacturing ... and in my opinion, that is usually a good thing! They tend to be higher quality, last longer and include more attention to detail than today's products. However, safety standards do change over time, items do deteriorate with age, and it is up to the customer to decide how they will use each product.
