Antique Souvenir Mug from Kirkham Pottery.
This English pottery much features a beautiful illustration of a charming & historic English Inn in warm colours on a cream background.
Bottom reads:
"Kirkham Pottery, Made in England, The George Inn Norton St. Phillip's Somerset. A great medieval Wool Inn. With memories of Monmouths rising. First Built Early Fifteenth Century."
A large mug, it measures approximately 3 3/4 inches tall by 5 inches across (including handle).
Very Good Condition.
It has a lot of charming crazing (usual for the age) but no chips or cracks that I can see. It should go without saying that this lovely antique mug was never designed for the dishwasher or microwave and is probably best used as a display piece.
