~ Shipping Information ~
Meadow Sweet Grove ships from North Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Cost
Shipping for Canada, US, UK, Europe and Australia is automatically added at checkout when you input your address. Range is usually between $10 and $30 Cdn. depending on the size and weight of the individual item(s) purchased and the shipping destination.
All other International customers, please contact me and I will be pleased to provide you with a shipping quote.
Take a look and see if there is more than one item you fancy! Shipping for multiple items is automatically combined and will be shipped in the same box, or separately, whichever is more cost effective. Almost always, I can ship 2 or more items, in the same package, for no additional cost! Please "Add to Cart" and the system will automatically combine your shipping costs.
As well, please do not hesitate to purchase based on shipping cost calculated! Simply contact me for a more accurate shipping quote based on your location or let me adjust it post-payment. Please be assured that you will never pay more than $3 above my actual shipping costs. Some of my estimates are high at checkout to ensure my cost is covered to all destinations (eg shipping within Canada fluctuates dramatically depending on distance so Coast to Coast is the default). But all shipping overages of $3 or more, over my actual cost of posting, will be happily and promptly REFUNDED to your PayPal account.
Customs, Duty, Fees & Taxes
Buyer is responsible for any applicable customs, duty, fees and/or taxes that may be applied to packages passing through your country's customs office.
Shipping Carrier
All items will be shipped with Canada Post.
Within Canada:
Items will be sent either Regular Parcel with Delivery Confirmation or Expedited Parcel (includes tracking).
Mail slottable items may have the option to be sent Letter Mail at a reduced rate (no tracking).
To the United States:
Items will be sent either Tracked Packet or Expedited (includes tracking).
Some smaller weight and/or low cost items may have the option to be sent Air Mail at a reduced rate (no tracking).
To the United Kingdom, Europe & Australia:
Items will be sent Air Mail. There is no tracking available at this time, as the cost is prohibitive from Canada to international destinations. (Please Note: Tracked Packet is now available to some international destinations - I am currently updating my listings to add this option where available or please contact me if this is an option you would like for your purchase.)
Packaging
Meadow Sweet Grove is committed to packaging your items with care. Clean, recycled & reused packaging is utilized most often in order to save Mother Nature and reduce your cost.
~ Other Store Policies ~
Returns
All merchandise must be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of the item price. Shipping costs cannot be refunded. Buyer is also responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds will only be issued after the item has been received by Meadow Sweet Grove.
There are unfortunately no returns on books as they can easily be read and returned! However, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any question in regard to this policy.
Lost Items
Please do let me know if your item does not arrive. Most items are sent with tracking and so this would be an unusual occurrence. For new items, if a replacement is available in my inventory, it may be sent to you at no extra charge, or a full refund issued for vintage items. This will, however, be determined on a case-by-case basis and will be at the sole discretion of Meadow Sweet Grove.
Disclaimer
Many of the items sold are vintage or pre-loved. Quality of vintage items vary with the manufacturing methods available at the time of production. They are not made to current standards of manufacturing ... and in my opinion, that is usually a good thing! They tend to be higher quality, last longer and include more attention to detail than today's products. However, safety standards do change over time, items do deteriorate with age, and it is up to the customer to decide how they will use each product.
