This box is incredibly fantastic and ethereal and beautiful! It is listed for a low price because there is a little bit of damage to the Unicorn tile.
The wood box is felt-lined on the bottom and in excellent condition. It has very strong "peg" hinges. The top ceramic tile features a prancing Unicorn in a somewhat darkened forest with sunshine streaming down on her. There is a Celtic design in each of the 4 corners.
The price is lowered to reflect the damage on this contemporary piece which I have discovered originally sold for $25.
Measures approximately 4 3/4 inches square - depth of box is approximately 3 3/4 inches.
Good to Fair Condition. Structurally sound. The tile is intact but there is a bit of "scratch" damage. One scratch flowing down from the Unicorn's horn (which kind of works as magic emanating from the horn!), one small scratch at the bottom of the design, in the browned grass and a bit of missing colour on the top right-hand corner (see photos).
