Wonderful vintage Canadian history book from Time Life. This is from The Old West Collection - "The Canadians".
It has a beautiful dark brown, padded, leatherette cover, with an inset photo and western styled "tooling" on the front cover. The book itself is very interesting with lots of fantastic historical photos and lithographs of First Nations communities, the arrival of the Mounties, various different settlers and settlements, landscapes, building of railroads, letters and more. A fascinating read.
This is the 1979, 2nd printing. 240 pages.
This book is in good condition. There is no writing inside and no torn pages. The leatherette cover does have scuffing damage to the lower right corner and the upper part of the spine (please see photos) which is to be expected for its age.
