I found this antique bone china teacup and saucer in a market stall on Portobello Road, London.  I love antique and vintage china and it is such a thrill when you can take two pieces from different sets and come up with a combination that matches so well!

The teacup is from the 1950s, a lovely pale green, bone white on the inside, and lots of gold trim.  Made by Adderley in England in the Lawley pattern.  The saucer is from the 1960s and features pretty yellow flowers and gold trim.  Made by Paragon in England in the Brown Eyed Susan pattern.

Teacup measures approximately 4 inches across by 2 1/4 inches high and the saucer measures approximately 4 3/4 inches round.

They are in really good condition.  No chips, no cracks, no crazing.  The gold trim is also in very good condition - there is a little wear on the handle of the teacup, which is to be expected with its age.

Disclaimer: Many of the items sold are vintage or pre-loved. Quality of vintage items vary with the manufacturing methods available at the time of production. They are not made to current standards of manufacturing ... and in my opinion, that is usually a good thing! They tend to be higher quality, last longer and include more attention to detail than today's products. However, safety standards do change over time, items do deteriorate with age, and it is up to the customer to decide how they will use each product.
