Have yourself a retro Christmas! Remember when Christmas trees were coated in tinsel? A very retro look these days and you can save them for future use in a big ziploc bag - we used ours for many, many years.
I found these 2 packages of Alderbrook / Doubl*Glo Tinsel Icicles which I believe are from the 1980s. Each package contains (apparently!) 2,000 strands.
From the back of the package:
"A Magical Tradition - Tinsel Icicles are the time honoured way to add that finishing touch to the decorating of your Christmas tree. They are flame resistant, safe to use on trees, around windows, fireplaces, chandeliers and even on gift packages. Get the whole family involved in trimming the tree with icicles, the more you use the more magical your tree will become."
Condition appears to be New. They haven't been opened but the packages are designed to pull the icicles from a small slot in the front so I can't guarantee the remaining count!
~ Made in Canada ~
Important Note: Keep away from the cats and kittens! They ingest them quite easily and this can cause problems.
