I always loved Avon as a little girl. The cute perfume sachet broaches, the pretty soaps shaped like rose buds and of course the lipsticks! Avon made such nice quality collectibles in years past. They were, at the time, seen as cheap alternatives to Wedgwood, Delft Blue, Milk and Depression Glass and jewellery featuring cameos and pearls, for those who couldn't afford the real McCoy. But compared to today's items, the fantastic quality of Vintage Avon astounds! Many items were also designed to serve dual usages - such as a face cream in a pretty, cut glass jar that could later be used on the vanity table for rings, or a bath oil bottle pretty enough to double as a bud vase. Ironically, a sound environmental concept that needs revisiting today! All of these items and more, you will find in this category.
